Fay Ruth Armstrong Presswood, 90, passed away Friday, May 30, in Boerne, was born January 7, 1918 in Throckmorton, Texas. She graduated from Throckmorton High School at the age of 15 and from Texas Woman’s University at the age of 19. She was a teacher for almost 60 years before retiring from the White Settlement ISD where she spent the majority of her career, teaching home economics, science and homebound students. She worked tirelessly and selflessly throughout her life for her students and family. She was a resident of Fort Worth, Texas for over 40 years before moving to Boerne. Fay was preceded in death by her husband, Newell Presswood and her son, Lani Presswood.Survivors: her son Daniel T. Presswood of Boerne, daughter and son-in-law Nan and Jeffrey Sprester of Fort Worth, granddaughter Katrina Presswood, grandsons Matthew, Ryan and Tyler Sprester, sister Inez Chancey of Houston and numerous nieces and
