WATERBURY — Mr. Fatmir Zoto, 61, of Heritage Drive died, suddenly at Danbury Hospital on Wednesday. He was the husband to Beije (Adili) Zoto for 32 years. He was born on May 31, 1946 to the late Halit and Ajrije (Jakupi) Zoto in Vrepcke, Albania.
Fatmir was the owner and operator of Frankies Ice Cream for 27 years and was an active member of the Albanian American Moslem Community. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching soccer and boxing and was a fan of Western Movies. He will truly be remembered for the endless love he showed to his family, he played with his grandchildren, liked going out to eat with his family. He was a loving husband and father.
Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Myftar Zoto and his spouse Lytfie of Weathersfield, Dajlan and Allyson Zoto of Rocky Hill, Abidin Zoto of Waterbury, a daughter, Indira and Rudy Demiraj of Waterbury, three brothers, Veip Zoto of Albania, Avni Zoto of Plymouth, Selman Zoto of Albania, two sisters, Zenepe Dinaj, Drita Cane both of Albania, six grandchildren, Adrian Zoto, Arben Zoto, Anisa Zoto, Ariana Zoto, Eron Demiraj, and Adem Zoto.
