Fannie Mendillo Fasano, 98, formerly of 710 Legion Ave., New Haven, passed away June 3, 2007. She was the widow of Marcell Fasano. Born in New Haven May 27, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale & Jennie DeMeola Mendillo. She was the loving mother of Rosemarie (Bob) Alchimio & Janet (John) Corvi, both of Hamden; Grandmother of Robert (Donna) Alchimio & Stacey (Michael) Anquillare; Great grandmother of Alyssa & Alexa Alchimio, Michael Anthony & Alexandra Anquillare. She was predeceased by 4 brothers, Albert, Anthony, Frank & Joseph Mendillo. Her greatest joy came from her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
