LAKE MILTON – F. “Jill” Bartholomew, age 84, died at 10:05 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 of a lengthy illness at the Antonine Nursing Home in North Jackson, Ohio. She was born March 19, 1934 in Shepton Mallet, England, the daughter of the late Ward and Penny (Harnell) Unger.
Jill worked as a Phlebotomist at the former Salem Community Hospital, she retired in 1999, after over 20 years of service. She loved to sew. Jill was Protestant by faith.
Her husband William “Bart” Bartholomew, whom she married October 22, 1954, preceded her in death October 4, 2000. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Nathan Wilson.
Survivors include one son, Dave (Gayle) Bartholomew of Lake Milton, Ohio; one daughter, Susan Bartholomew of Salem; 5 grandchildren, Alyssa Jenkins, Erin Staten, Courtney Wilson, Chase Bartholomew, Jessica Bartholomew; and 8 great-grandchildren.
