Everette Tilden “Buddy” Palmore of Dillwyn went to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at UVA Medical Center. He was born in Howardsville, VA on March 5, 1944, the son of the late Ernest Dabney Palmore, Sr. and Rosa Ballowe Palmore Duncan. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Peggy Davis Palmore, five daughters: Janice and husband Gary Kotouch, JoAnne and husband Kirk Seay, Trish and husband Aaron Harris, Holli and husband Brian Craddock, and Emily and husband Kris Mason; nine grandchildren: Kirby, Rebekah, Kane, Jackson, Bayla, Connor, Anna, Riley and Tilden and two great-grandchildren Karly and Clyde, and honorary sons: Phil Lang and Paul Michael Harris and his wife Katie and son Cooper; two sisters, Evelyn Nicholas and Mildred Ragland and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers Ernest Dabney (Junior) Palmore and Frederick Lewis Palmore, Sr. He was retired from the Buckingham County School System as Transportation Supervisor and continued to drive buses during retirement. He was the former owner of Buddy’s Small Engine Repair. He loved woodworking, riding motorcycles and golfing weekly with his seniors group and dining with his friends and family.
