Everett Johnson Jr., age 72, of Wabash, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2022 while surrounded by his loving family.
Everett spent most of his life working as a mechanic. He loved working on cars, as well as selling cars he had restored. He believed in living a simple life, that was focused on family. Everett was extremely talkative, and never met a stranger. He was kind hearted, very outgoing, and deeply committed to those he loved. Everett was popular with the ladies…this only got worse after he entered the nursing home! Everett was a character, and had the ability to brighten days for many, as well as make them laugh. He truly will be missed beyond measure.
Those left to carry on Everett’s legacy of love are his sons, Jarod (Martha) Johnson, Tobin Johnson; grandchild, Danyn Johnson; brothers, Donald (Peggy) Fraley, George Fraley; sister-in-law, Louise Fraley; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Everett was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Johnson; parents, Everett & Mertyl Johnson; brother, Vernie Lee Fraley; as well as 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.
