Everett Edward Griffin Jr., known to several as “Griff” , of Remus passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 11, 2007 at his home at the age of 72. He was born to the late Everett and Iva Mae (Parkins) Griffin on March 10, 1935, in Rochester, MI. As a young man he quit school to help support his family. Griff was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War. Griff lived in Romeo but spent several years in Washington, MI working as a die setter for National Machines until the operation closed. Before moving to Barryton about 30 years ago he worked at Farrow’s in Mt.
