SALEM – Everett E. Jackson Jr., age 89, died at 8:04 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 11, 1928 in Salem, Ohio, the son of the late Everett E. Sr. and Mary (Segedi) Jackson.
Everett previously worked at Quaker Manufacturing in shipping and receiving and also worked at Salem China. He enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Jeri Y. (McKnight) Jackson, whom he married December 3, 1947; two sons, Terry (Penny) Jackson of Salem and Randy Jackson of Palm Bay, FL; two daughters, Linda (Bob) Schreffler of Lisbon and Tammy (Doug) Cain of Warren; two brothers, Billie Jackson of North Carolina and Walt Jackson of Salem; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A brother, Harry Jackson and a sister, Rose Marie Parks also preceded him in death.
His family is thankful for the support and care of Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice.
