CTIChief Petty Officer Everett F. Driscoll, 74, entered into rest Wednesday, October 12, 2016. He is survived by his wife Carol, four children Hollie Marie Eller, Everett Driscoll Jr, John P. Driscoll, Patrick J. (Becky) Driscoll, grandchildren Miguel Ortiz, Alex Ortiz, Toby L. Driscoll, Ciera (Casey) Driscoll, Ryan Driscoll, Sean P. Driscoll, Owen Driscoll, Shayla M. Driscoll, Kitty Scott, and two great grandchildren Cameron J. Driscoll,Tabitha Wiseman, and Dennis Gray.
Everett retired from the U.S. Navy and attended U.S. Naval Intelligence Foreign Language School in Washington, D.C.
He is a 1960 graduate of St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School in Milford Massachusetts and entered the Navy two weeks later.
He said, Miss me…But let me go! When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not forever and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared: Miss me, but let me go for this is a journey we all must take alone. It’s all a part of the master plan: A step on the road back home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know and bury your sorrow in doing well.
