Whelan Evelyn C. Whelan, age 92, of Trumbull, passed away, March 5, 2005 in St. Josepha(TM)s Manor. Mrs. Whelan was born in N.Y.C., N.Y. and was a longtime Stratford resident before moving to Trumbull, five years ago. She was bookkeeper for Buckley Brothers in Bridgeport for many years. After her retirement, she was a receptionist at her sona(TM)s accounting practice, Whelan, Rolleri and DePietro. She was the devoted mother of Charles K. Whelan and his wife, Juliette of Burke, VA and Thomas J. Whelan II and his wife, Doris of Trumbull, loving grandmother to Peter Whelan, Laurie Branscombe, Kimberly Gonzalez, Robert Whelan, Kathleen Larsen and Thomas C. Whelan.. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Jeanne Whelan and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Whelan Sr., her son, Robert W. Whelan, her brother Julius Koetsch and her sister, Dorothy Tremalio.
