…A native of Picayune, MS, she was an active member of First Baptist Church of Picayune, and a member of the Truthseekers Sunday School Class. Evelyn was a charter member of the Civic Women’s Club of Picayune, and served on multiple Civic committees. She was active in National and International Boy Scouts of America. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Cleveland Taylor and Vernie Melva Brady Taylor; her husband, Byron A..Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted daughters, Lynn S. (Ernie) Lovell and Anne S. (James) Knight; her grandchildren, Dr. Michael Byron (Tara) Mitchell, Jeffry Osmond (Frances) Mitchell, Elizabeth Anne (Brian) Byars, David James Knight, and Verna Martha Lovell, and Tripp Larson Boone; her great grandchildren, Anne Larson Boone, Taylor Elizabeth Byars, Julia Kay Mitchell and Andrew Byron Mitchell, Emily Katelyn Byars, Walker Osmond Mitchell, William Moore Mitchell and Sarah Frances Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews.
