Evelyn Sue Owens, 79, of Oxford, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
She was born in Oxford, Arkansas on November 29, 1940, daughter of the late Olin Wesley and Ethel (Garner) Youngblood. Sue spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was united in marriage to Jimmy Owens on April 8, 1958 in Oxford, Arkansas and from this union four daughters were born, Rhonda, Wanda, Beverly and Kim. During her working years, Sue worked for Tri County Shirt Company, was a housekeeper for the Lamb family who was very special to her and helped on the family farm. Sue was of the Church of Christ faith.
Sue is survived by her husband, Jimmy Owens of Oxford; daughters, Rhonda Moss and husband Greg, Wanda McVey and husband Larry, Beverly Dockins and husband Timmy and Kim Hutchins and husband Rodney; six grandchildren, Heather (Chance), Daniel, Tori, Colton (Toni), Kaitlyn and Cheyenne (JM); ten great grandchildren, River, Caleb, Mesa, Makensie, Caden, Kallie, Corben, Ari, Brennan and Aubree and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olan and Ethel Youngblood; brothers, Clifford Youngblood and Morris Youngblood; mother and father-in-law, Ray and Ozzie Owens and granddaughter, Kailey Moss.
