Evelyn Seal Rogers, age 98, died on November 5, 2013.. She was a business owner in Picayune for 40 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She taught cosmetology in the late 50’s and early 60’s at Pearl River Jr. College. She was a member of the Pearl RIver County Arts League. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. N. Seal; sisters, Thelma Seal Parker, Phala Seal, and Eloise Seal Donald; and brother, Raymond A. Seal. In 2011, she moved to the Jackson area and for the last five years, she resided at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Byram, MS. She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Weathersby and her husband Bill; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren..
