Evelyn Ruth Waymire, 78, of Ft. Lupton, died on July 11, 2015 at her home in Ft. Lupton. She was born on October 13, 1936 in McClurg, Missouri to Ted and Octie (Jenkins) Mitchell. She married Jerry D. Waymire on September 1, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas.
Evelyn worked as a caretaker at nursing facilities in Greensburg, Kansas. She lived in the Ft. Lupton – Brighton areas since 1990. She loved to cook and was well accomplished at keeping her home neat and tidy. Evelyn loved gardening and yard work, a loving mother, wife and dedicated grandmother.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Janie Chapin and Tammy Taylor of Ft. Lupton, CO; sisters, Barb Ellison, Louise Jennings and Sharon Rush all of Missouri; brothers, Howard Mitchell and Gary Mitchell both of Missouri and Rod Mitchell of Wichita, KS; seven grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Jerry in 2012; and 1 sister, Patsy.
