Evelyn Rose Ross, 87 of Pruntytown, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Grafton City Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Webster, April 14, 1929, a daughter of the late George Michael and Hester Jane Mitchell Haller. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Ross, October 20, 2009.
Evelyn graduated from Grafton High School, was a member of the Webster Baptist Church, and worked at the Hazel Atlas Glass. She was a wonderful homemaker and loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by four children, Cathy Jo Jones and Randy Swiger, Clarksburg, Debbie Crate and husband Darrel, Ford, WA, Jerry Ross and wife Sandy, Ricky Ross and Katherine Forsyth all of Grafton; seven grandchildren, Jodie Powley and Ryan, Ricky L. Ross Jr. and Marie, Jonah House and Duane, Jerry Ross, Jr. and April, Brian Ross and Hilary Austin, Michelle Ross, Rhonda Crate and Andrey Zaikin; seven great grandchildren, Emma, Brooke, Levi, Dillon, Brenna, Elsie, and Shelby; two sisters, Martha Brammer, Grafton, Sue Clark and husband Carl, St. Marys, WV, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Charles “Charlie” Ross and George A. “Butch” Ross; three sisters, Mildred Walzer, Mary Jo Haller, Martha Blanche Haller; five brothers, Thomas Michael Haller, Victor Haller, Junior Paul Haller, Walter James Haller, and Woodrow Haller.
