Evelyn Uzzel was born June 4, 1921 to Al & Ethel Crill who resided in Greenhurst District in Nampa. She married her high school sweetheart Paul Uzzel in 1936, Paul always referred to her as “Mommie”. From their union came their children, Robert Uzzel & Dixie Allen. At the beginning of their marriage Paul worked at the Ice plant in Nampa. Evelyn was a homemaker later Paul & Evelyn both worked and retired from Nampa State School. She always had a Sunday dinner for who showed up at her door including cats & dogs. She loved to cook & everyone loved to eat it. . They enjoyed each other for 59 happy years. After Pauls passing Evelyn continued to live on their farm in Marsing. Her family was her life. Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul Uzzel, Son Robert Uzzel, and Grandson Robyn Uzzel. She is survived by Daughter & Son in law Dixie & Dale Allen of Marsing, Granddaughter Debbie Neider (Butch) of Marsing, Granddaughter Shelly Savage (Mike) Meridian, Sister Alice Stickney (Gordon) of Nampa, Great Grandchildren Brandee Robbins , Codee Krausch, Kylee Neider, Leah Obenchain, 10 Great Great Grandchildren , and one great great great Granddaughter. She had six generations of Girls. Paul and Evelyn took in Theodore “ Andy” Andrews from the state school, he has been with them for 53 happy years, and became a part of the family, where he worked with Paul on the farm and helped Evelyn with house cleaning and ironing, and was by her side every day until her passing.
