Evelyn Meek, 84, of Green Forest, AR. entered eternal life Tuesday, April 24, 2012. She was born at Oak Grove, AR to the late J.T. and Grace (Sooter) Plumlee. She graduated from Green Forest High School and was a life-long resident of Carroll County. She had been married to Dale Meek. They had one son, Jimmy Dale Meek. Evelyn moved from the farm to Green Forest a number of years before her illness. She loved antiquing and spent hours shopping garage sales, flea markets and other places. She is survived by one sister, Betty Van Winkle and husband Virgil of Green Forest, one brother James Plumlee of Lancaster, California, two nephews and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Grace Plumlee and her son Jimmy Dale Meek.
