Evelyn Pauline Green, 87 of Centralia, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at Fireside House in Centralia.She was born November 27, 1928 in Centralia, daughter of William Green and Eve (Finley) Green.Evelyn is survived by three sons: Ronnie Green of Centralia, Billy Green of Granite City, and Timmy Green of West Frankfort; a niece, Shirley Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Darrell Finley, Calvin Finley, and Robert Finley, two sisters: Lela Finley and Marcene Hediger.Evelyn worked at Centralia Apparel, then she worked at Hollywood Candy, and retired after 24 years at Ms. Elaines. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and cooking. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends.
