NEW HARTFORD –KENT – Evelyn Mary Kent, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late Henry Monroe Kent who passed away in 1984. Evelyn was born April 9, 1921 in New Britain; the daughter of the late Dean and Mary (Martancik) Crombie. She is survived by her son, Robert Kent and wife Patty of Torrington; daughter, Mary Kent of Litchfield; sister, Mildred Poppel and husband Charles of New Britain; daughter-in-law, Becky Kent of New Hartford; grandchildren, Jon Kent of New Hartford, Christopher Kent of Burlington and Tim Kent and wife Tammy of West Hartland; great grandchildren, Christopher Kent, Jr., Hillary Kent, David Kent, T.J. Kent and Tyler Kent; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, James Kent.
