Evelyn Mae Rozycke, 85, of Jacksonville, died June 13, 2017, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
She was born Feb. 3, 1932, in Washington DC, the daughter of Gilbert and Mildred Burrows. She married Frank L. Rozycke on June 23, 1951, in Takoma Park, MD and he survives.
She is also survived by her daughter, Lisa (Steve) Sanders of Lynnville; grandson, Steven Sanders, Jr. of Jacksonville; a great granddaughter, Mariah Ann Sanders of Jacksonville; sister, Bertha Burrows of Delaware; and one brother, James Burrows of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by one brother, Sonny Burrows.
Mrs. Rozycke worked at Bell Telephone Company before being transferred to General Telephone Company where she was a supervisor. She was a member of Church of Our Saviour in Jacksonville. She enjoyed playing card games, dominoes, bingo, and bowling. She especially loved spending time with family and friends and spending winters in Texas with her husband.
