Evelyn M. Butz, 93, of Allentown, formerly of Fountain Hill, died Thursday, November 27, 2008, at Sunrise at Mountain View in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Franklin Winfield Butz who died in 1980. Born in Salisbury Twp., she was the daughter of the late Jacob P. and Cora E. (Weiss) Ahlum. Before retiring she and her husband owned and operated a general store for many years. Survivors: her son Franklin W. and his wife Diane of Collinsville, Texas; grandchildren Jenna, Timothy and his wife Rhonda and Catherine Ann and great-granddaughter Bailey. She was preceded in death by her brother Wilmer.
