Evelyn Lynn Weathers, 93, of Rome, Georgia died Monday, October 13, 2014 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Weathers was born in Lee County, Alabama, daughter of Brady Lynn and Ruth Holt Lynn.
Mrs. Weathers retired from the Rome City School System, having been the School Secretary at North Heights Elementary. She was a member of North Broad Baptist Church. She was married to Carl Ford Weathers in January 1945, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, and a granddaughter, Julie Ann Duncan.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynn Watkins (Bill), a son, Bill Weathers (Debbie); grandchildren, Dana Brummel (Monty) and Bradley Cochran; and great grandchildren, Brittany Brummel and Matthew Brummel.
