Evelyn “Lyn“ Harriott Franks, of Saint George died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
Born on May 1, 1966, she was the fifth and youngest daughter of Evelyn Weathers and Charles Carlisle Harriott. A graduate of St. George High School, Lyn attended the University of South Carolina.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Eric Stephen Franks; her daughter, Lauren Ashley Franks; son, Benjamin Stephen Franks (Shelby); granddaughter, Madison Elizabeth; sisters, Cheryl Harriott Fisher (Allen) of Columbia, South Carolina, Jane Harriott Malphrus (Tommy) of Boonsboro, Maryland, Jeanne Harriott Landry (Rick) of Plattsburgh, New York, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Angela Harriott Coffey.
