Evelyn Lois (Burr) Biagi, 87, of Gilbert, AZ, formerly of Oglesby, passed away April 8, 2019.
Mrs. Biagi was born on April 7, 1932 in Florid, IL to William and Mae (Hartwig) Burr. She married Fred John Biagi on June 21, 1960. He passed away January 18, 2002.
She worked at Eureka National Bank, Illinois Valley Credit Union and ran the fabric department at Wal-Mart. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Peru and was president of the church’s bible study. She also was president of the PTA and 4-H Club.
Survivors include her two children Rhonda (Rob) Brandt of Gilbert, AZ and Bonnie Biagi-Shields of Peru; five grandchildren, Slone Victoria (Shane) Taylor, Nicholas John Niner, Kaytlin Converse, Romeo Benjamin Brandt and Rebecca Rae Brandt; and one great-granddaughter, Lennox Victoria Taylor. She was preceded in death by parents; her husband; two sisters, Emma Mae Burger and Geraldine “Gerry” Boyle and three brothers, Lee, William “Bill” and Warren “Bud” Burr.Pallbearers will be Rhonda Brandt, Bonnie Biagi-Shields, Slone Victoria Taylor, Nicholas John Niner, Kaytlin Converse and Romeo Benjamin Brandt.
