Evelyn L. Sherren, 72, of Virginia, IL died June 15, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.
She was born April 18, 1937 in Cass County; the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy Frank Marr. She married Albert L. Sherren in 1953 in Springfield and he survives.
She is also survived by four children, Raymond Sherren and Rodney Sherren, both of Havana, Roberta Glennon (husband, Bill) of Fayetteville, NC, and Roger Sherren of Pekin; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Melvin Marr (wife, Lynette) of Illinois City; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Rhonda Collins.
