Evelyn L. Allmon was born in Bakersfield on January 24, 1943 and was raised by her two loving parents, Pete and Lucille Havens. She passed away peacefully at her Bakersfield home on May 9, 2015. Mrs. Allmon was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Smith and by her two sons, Phillip and Larry Hagar. She is survived by her beloved husband, Patrick Allmon; her brother, Kenneth Havens; her daughters, Patricia Coone, Linda Kirkbride and Carrie Osborn. Mrs. Allmon is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. A longtime resident of Taft, a fiesty and devoted wife, mother and a dear friend to all that knew her, Evelyn will be sorely missed.
