Evelyn Joyce Olguin, age 69, a longtime resident of Jarales, NM was called home by our lord and savior Jesus Christ on March 28th, 2023. She was born on September 30th, 1953 in Belen to her mother Juanita Chavez. She married Jose Olguin at the young age of 16 and had two beautiful children together, as well as 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her father Celestino Martinez, her mother Juanita Martinez, and sister Dolores Chavez. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Jose “Avilio” Olguin, her son Dominic Olguin, her daughter Lorrie Chavez and her husband Ramon. Her 5 grandchildren, Ashli Flock, Nicholas Olguin and his wife Erica, Dylan Flock and his Fiancé Anais Andino, Felicia Olguin and her boyfriend Zackery Lucero, and Ramon Chavez Jr. Her 8 great grandchildren Ethan and Jericho Olguin, Brayden Trujillo, Madison Torres, Lilly and Riley Flock, Jaxxon Lucero, and Celeste Chavez. Her sister Sandra Chavez. Her best friend Cheri Jaramillo and her husband Henry.
