Evelyn’s life was made richer by having the influence of a close extended family consisting of her grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins that helped to shape and form her Christian beliefs. Evelyn truly loved the Lord and this was made manifest in her daily walk, which led others to follow in her footsteps. When the family moved to San Diego in 1943, Evelyn attended Mt.

Evelyn had six children whom she loved deeply, always striving to set a positive example for them by exhibiting strong faith, hard work, generosity and perseverance. Regardless of the adversities that were handed to Evelyn in her life, she always kept her joy and a happy countenance and did not complain.
