Holland, Michigan formerly of Saginaw, Michigan
Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Holland Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was 89 years old. Evelyn (Avalina) Flores was born on October 12, 1927 in Texas to the late Abraham and Luz (Garcia) Flores. Evelyn Flores married Julian Jimenez Sr. on April 29, 1947. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2000.
Naka is survived by her three sons and one daughter: Julian Jr. (Rosemary) Jimenez, Dora Jimenez, Dannie Jimenez, and his friend Amelia Villanueva and Johnny Jimenez; 22 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren; 11 great great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Chavela) Flores; sister, Emma (Paul) Gomez.
