Evelyn Jean (Warren) Hampton was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 29th, 1961, to James Booker Warren and Ada Mae McCauley. Evelyn attended School #44 and Northwest High School in Indianapolis IN. She married the late Abraham Hampton on February 14th, 2006.
Evelyn worked as a cook for over 20 plus years.
Evelyn is survived by her beautiful daughters: Keyla, Nicole (William) and Cassandra; siblings: Velma (Toni) Kelley , Anthony Warren, Charles(Sherlynn) Warren; sisters in law: Genean (Jerome’s wife), Mona (John’s wife) and Brenda (Clarence’s wife); grandchildren: Jermane, Deontae, DeAndre, Calandra, Damon, Markel, DeJanae, Korean, Jermerrell, LeeAnthony, Georgianae, Evone, Jeremiah and Quincey; five great grandchildren: Ter’Shanti, Landynn, DeAndre, baby Jermane and Ja’Von.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Abraham Hampton; father: James Booker Warren, mother: Ada Mae McCauley; brothers: Donnie and Jerome Warren, John and Clarence McCauley and granddaughter Kamaya.
As we remember Evelyn we would like to take a second to reflect on the beautiful person she was. She will be dearly missed and will always remain in our hearts. Evelyn loved life. She loved many things. she was a hard working woman with a heart of gold. Anyone that knew her could agree that she would do anything for anyone. She was always smiling and laughing.
