Evelyn H. Snurr, 84, of Lima, passed away on July 9, 2023, at 10:44am, at St. Ritas Medical Center, after an extended illness. She was born on Sept. 22, 1938, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Andrew and Frances Kurutz. Both parents have preceded her in death. She was married to Tommy Snurr, Sr., who passed away on July 14, 2014. They were sweethearts and truly loved each other and their family.
Evelyn was primarily a homemaker and caretaker.
Evelyn is survived by her children: Tommy (Tiffany) Snurr, of Troy, Lisa Lama, of Lima, Laura Maupin (Phillip) of Idaho, and Kenneth (Lynette) Snurr of Lima. She also has one surviving brother: Eddie (Sharon) Kurutz, of North Carolina. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
