Evelyn Elaine McGanty died on June 17, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Maxie Eldred and Vivian Althea Feagle and was predeceased by her husband Ernest James McGanty, Jr. She was predeceased by her sisters Shirley Langford and JoAnn Cain; and a great grandson Tyler Fago.Evelyn was a past president of the Ladies’ Moose Lodge #1165 and a member of the Thalia Volunteer Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary. She also enjoyed bowling for many years and was a past president of the bowling league.She is survived by her children Vivian McClenney (Paul), Barbara Oshel (Rod), Ernest J. McGanty III (Pennie), Robert McGanty (Debbie) and Deborah Samuel (Chuck); 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and sisters Mildred Barber and Frances Watson.
