Evelyn E. Curtin, age 82, of Shelton, formerly of Watertown, NY, beloved wife of the late Robert Curtin and the late Russel Baker, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Hewitt Memorial Health Center. Born in New York City the daughter of the late Ludevit and Ethel Hlubik, she was raised in the Bronx and had lived in Watertown for many years prior to moving to Shelton. Her first job was working at Macy’s in New York City, and after settling in Watertown, she became employed in the Admissions Department at Good Samaritan Hospital. Following her retirement, Evelyn enjoyed working in the Sewing Department at the Walmart in Watertown.
