Evelyn Della Murray was born March 5, 1952, to Lester and Evelyn Alter at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho. She passed away August 26, 2016, at St. Alphonsus Hospital, Boise with her beloved husband Jim by her side. Evelyn had struggled with numerous health issues since September of 2005.
Evelyn met her husband, James “Jim” Murray in November of 1992 and they were married February 14, 1993, in Reno, Nevada. The two made their home in Meridian, Idaho with their two loved Papillons, Ginger and Missy.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Alter, in 2013, and her younger brother John in 2014. She is survived by her husband, James Murray, her father Lester Alter, her brother Lester Alter and his wife Denise, Daughter Holly Heavener and her husband Dave, and her son, Scott McPherson. Also surviving her are her Grandchildren, Ryan Heavener, Brila McPherson, Madison Riley and Tyanna Newman.
