Evelyn Christine Caudill King, age 88, of Reynolds Road, Salt Lick, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at Golden Living Center in Vanceburg.
Born March 27, 1929, in Elliott County, she was a daughter of the late Willie O. Caudill and Georgeann Goodan Caudill. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold King; one son, Ronnie C. Caudill; two grandsons, Mickey Gilliam and Patrick Gilliam; one infant great granddaughter, Pernell-Butler; one son-in-law, Roger Gilliam; and four brothers, William, Harles, Denvil, and Roger Caudill.
She is survived by one son, Tommy and Becky Cains of Morehead; three daughters, Patty Cains and Randy Ferguson of Morehead, Terrie and Johnny Markwell of Morehead, and Joan and Dennis Pernell of Salt Lick; 10 grandchildren, Shawn, Rodney, Stacy, Tommy Jr., Christy, Ambria, Jessica, Sancha, Chris, and Ashley; and 16 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are five brothers, Harold Caudill and June Caudill of Mansfield, Ohio, Wayne Caudill of Morehead, Elwood Caudill and Frosty Caudill of Olive Hill; one sister, Carolyn Clark of Olive Hill; extended family and friends.
Evelyn was a former employee of Mansfield Plating Company, Cowden Mfg., Ralco Sewing Factory and Imperial Cleaners.
