Evelyn Bullock Baham, age 78, of Edwardsburg, died peacefully Friday evening, at 11:10 p.m., February 13, 2015 in Lakeland Health Center in Niles.

She was born September 19, 1936 in Jackson, Tennessee to Luther and Lola (Holland) Ross. Her parents preceded her in death. She was also preceded by one daughter, Teresa Bullock DeBough; and one sister, Joanne Whisenant.

Evelyn married Odas Bullock who preceded her in death. She married Louis R. Baham November 18, 2001 in Dowagiac, Michigan. He survives.

Evelyn’s face lit up when she spent time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed working at her daughter’s flower shop in Three Oaks. Evelyn sang in the choir at Chain Lake Missionary Baptist Church. She spent a lot of time keeping up with everyone on the phone.

Evelyn will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Louis Baham of Edwardsburg; one daughter, Fae (Carroll) James of Elkhart, Indiana; one son, Odis “Running Wolf” (Chris “Night Raven” Ely) Bullock, Jr. of Edwardsburg; six sisters, Leigh (James E.) Wheeler of Gary, Indiana, Ann “Pudgy” Ross Wheeler of Alabama, Polly Sadler of LaGrange, Kentucky, Linda Step of LaGrange, Kentucky, Diane (J.D.) Marshall of Louisville, Kentucky, Wanda (Rich) Wolfe of Petersburg, Illinois; one brother, Wayne (Ann) Ross of Jackson, Tennessee; two step daughters, Robin Mullins Currins of Haladay, Tennessee, Rhonda Kay Mullins of Parsons, Tennessee; one step son, Johnny Baham of Petersburg, Indiana; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, step great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was helped in her last month of illness by her friend, Mildred Fisher of Niles, Michigan.
