Evelyn Blanche Shaffer Stewart, 80, of Bridgeport passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at her the home of her daughter,Roxana Goff in Kingwood. She was born May 14, 1940 in Grafton, the daughter of the late Harry Marcellus and Hallie Irene Newlon Edwards, Evelyn was preceded in death by two husbands, Claudie D. Shaffer and John H. Stewart.
Evelyn is survived by three daughters, Robin Collins, Bridgeport, Crystal Corbin, Tunnelton, and Roxana Goff and husband Terry, Kingwood, three step-children, John R. Stewart, Salem, Kurt H. Stewart, Clarksburg, Janet Dowdell, Bridgeport, fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, two sister, Ellen Hanmons, Elaine Christine Adams both of Grafton, and several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Shaffer, Terry Shaffer, one daughter, Louisa Shaffer, one brother, Elmer L. Edwards, one step-son John W. Sturm, one son-in-law, Donald “Donnie” Collins, one granddaughter, Claudia Murray,
