Evelyn Baumchen Kirk, beloved wife, daughter sister, aunt, cousin, friend and neighbor passed away at a local care center on February 7, 2014 following a stroke at her home. She was born on January 9, 1921 in Boise, Idaho to Jacob and Annie Baumchen. She attended the Ustick School, and Cole School. She graduated from Boise High School in 1939 and from Boise Jr. College in 1941. She was married to her beloved husband, Glen W. Kirk on June 8, was employed by the U.S. Army Engineers and Bureau of Land Management for 5 years. She then was employed by First Interstate Bank of Idaho, which merged with Wells Fargo in 1947, retiring in 1983. She was the assistant Vice President in the Administration Office.
