Evelyn Amelia Albrect, 100, of Rochelle, IL passed away on January 10, 2019. Evelyn was born on April 21, 1918, in Ashton, IL to Charles and Emma (Ehlbeck) Eich. She owned and operated a clothing store in Ashton and worked on a family farm. She also worked at local restaurants and grocery stores. She took a lot of pride in raising her 3 boys.
Evelyn is survived by her 3 children, Jerry (Maureen) Albrecht of St. Charles, MO, Duane (Jenny) Albrecht of Pawnee, IL, and Steen (Bonnie) Albrecht of Ashton, IL; 1 sister, Gertrude Patterson of Elgin, IL; as well as 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Marcus; 5 brothers, Harold, Raymond, Willis, Ernest, and Leroy; and 4 sisters, Ella, Louise, Leona, and Aleta.
