HAVERHILL – Evdokia (Georgine) Dimakis, 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, surrounded by her beloved husband and family.
She was born on September 25, 1935 on the beautiful island of Chios, Greece, daughter to the late Nikolaos and Venetia Georgine. She spent most of her early years on the island and spent some time in Pireaus, Greece where she was educated at the prestigious Zandark French Catholic High School.
In 1955 Evdokia fell in love and married her one true love, Antonios Dimakis, together for well over a half of century for 62 years and married for 57 years. Their love was very rare and their story is one you write books about. She will forever be in Antonio’s heart and will be missed very dearly.
In 1975 she immigrated to the United States with her husband and three sons, Kostantinos, Nikolaos and Stavros.
