Evan Reed Barlow, 24, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 at his home in Newnan. Reed was born April 29, 1995 in Atlanta to Troy Neil Barlow and Lisa Brown Barlow. In addition to his father, Reed was preceded in death by grandmother, Sharon Neja; great-grandmothers, Isabel Brown, So, Su Nam, and Agnes Hosey. Reed loved children and fondly remembered his high school jobs at Monkey Joe’s and as a kids’ camp counselor.
He enjoyed watching UGA football, MMA, or playing golf and guitar. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church where he was baptized at the age of 13.
Survivors include wife, Caitlin Simon Barlow; daughter, McKynley Barlow; mother, Lisa Brown Barlow; grandparents, Hugh & Joyce Brown; sisters, Summer Barlow, Isabella Barlow; uncle, Stephen (LeAnn) Brown; cousin, Camilla Ann Brown; numerous cousins and extended family.
