Eva Sult went to be with Jesus on Saturday, April 9, 2022. She was born August 22, 1929 to Ben and Mary (Lovely) Williams in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was married to Charles Sult in 1970 and he preceded her in death in 2013. She is survived by daughters, Janice Connors, New Carlisle, Juanita (David) Franks, South Bend, Loretta (Max) Wilkins, Niles Michigan, Pamela Clowers, South Bend, Deborah (Tony) Brauchler, St. Louis, MO, and sons-in-law, Stephen Keim, Waynesboro, VA and Julian (Ellen) Baldizon, South Bend. She was preceded in death by her children, James Wireman, David Wireman, Louise Keim and Marcia Baldizon, grandsons, Robert Connors and Kevin Wireman, Son in laws, John Connors and Jerrold Clowers. She had 26 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Eva retired from Memorial Hospital after 18 years of service in 1991. She loved to garden and pruned all her shrubs. She was an excellent cook and made the best homemade noodles. She also loved to crochet. She made beautiful blankets and gave them away. I think every family member has at least one blanket.
Most of all, Eva loved Jesus. She would walk up to any person and tell them “Jesus loves you!” Her joy of life and her loving personality has left a legacy for all of us to follow. She held her family dear to her heart and they loved her back. She will be missed so much.
