Eva Navarro was born on February 12, 1930, one of nine children, left us to be with the Lord on August 28, 2022, she was 92 years old. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Maria and Tanilo Rivera, her sisters Emily Avila, Elisa De La Luz, and brothers Arthur Rivera and Guadalupe Rivera. Eva was mother to Linda Ramirez (spouse Frank) and Lorenzo Navarro (spouse Vicky). She had three grandchildren and IssisLong (spouse Bryan), Israel (spouse Maria) and Stanley. She had six great grandchildren: Andrea Navarro, Isabella Navarro, Lilly Navarro, Miranda Navarro, Siena Long & Brendan Long. She worked for 50 years at the Seaboard Lemon Packing housethrough the ranks to lemon grader.
FAITH AND PRAYER were the two qualities that people recognized and asked her help with the most. She would willingly attend rosaries for people who had past and say masses with special attentions for people who needed help. “Prayer is powerful”, “Continue to have FAITH” “If you don’t have FAITH or you doubt then my prayers don’t work!” These were words she lived by and continually reminded her granddaughter Issis of as she attended CAL Poly Technic State University, San Luis Obispo, (B.S. Engineering).
Praying for her children, grandchildren and Great grandchildren’s health and safety were consistently the intention during her prayers. Her love for them can still be felt today as this is being written. “We LOVE you Nana!”.
We will miss Nana and all of her special gifts of food, love and prayer.
