Eva Marie Lester Jarrell, 76, Warsaw, died October 28, 2003 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born September 6, 1927 in Sulphur Springs, Indiana, and resided in Warsaw, Indiana for six weeks. She lived in Anderson most of her life. She retired in 1981 from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 31 years of service.
She also worked for Red Gold in Orestes for 9 years. She was a 1945 graduate of Sulpher Springs High School. She was a member of St. Annes Episcopal Church in Warsaw. She was a 50 year member of the Middletown Chapter Order of Eastern Star #110 and Frankton American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to garden, going to the race track and having a good time with family and friends.
She is survived by her Four Children: Sonda & husband Harold ”Butch” Schapson of Warsaw. Tom & wife Ann Axon of Fishers. Lisa & husband Jeff Rector of Alexandria. Linda & husband Danny Moore of Elwood. Three Sisters: Virginia & husband Jim Wasson of New Castle. Sue Jackson of Anderson. Jerri & husband Dave Rockwell of Alexandria. Several Nieces & Nephews. Five Grandchildren: Courtney & husband Gary Clark of Warsaw. Annie Burmeister of Alexandria Mac Burmeister of Alexandria. Patrick Axon of Fishers. Kelly Jarrell of Elwood. One Great Granddaughter: Gabrielle Clark of Warsaw.
Special Friends: Helen & Bill Brammer of Punta Gorda, Florida. Melanie & Dallas Jent of Alexandria. She was preceded by her Husband whom she married November 20, 1967: Robert L. Jarrell on October 7, 1996. Parents: Leo E. & Yerda M. Nordin Lester. Sister: Lil Schuffman.
