Eva Mae Talley Stone, 90, of Rossville, left this world on July 27, 2016 for a heavenly reunion with her loved ones.  Eva was born February 16, 1926 in Chickamauga, GA, to Rita and E.R. Talley.  She was first and foremost a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her precious grandchildren who called her Mimi.  Her greatest pride was her family.

She married her high school sweet heart, William Golan Stone, at the beginning of World War II.

Her most joyful experience was the birth of their only son, David.  She worked alongside Golan, her husband as he grew several successful businesses in the North Georgia area.  They were privileged to travel together over most of the U.S. and Europe as they developed relationships in the textile business.

She was a lifelong member of Rossville First Baptist where she taught a girls Sunday School class and worked with Team Kids in Training Union.  Later she became a member of Fort Oglethorpe First Baptist and enjoyed friendships she made through the Lydia Sunday School Class.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband, William Stone, her beloved son, William David Stone, brother, Wayne Talley, and sister, Eunice Rogers.

Survivors are grandson, William Patrick (Jennifer) Stone, Signal Mountain; great-grandsons, David Rylan and Dylan Ludwig Stone, and several nieces and nephews.
