Eva Louise Lansford passed away (on her birthday) peacefully in her sleep early Thursday morning at Littleton Hospital on September 1, 2016. She is survived by her partner in life of 25 years, Ted Switzer; also survived by her son Eric Lansford (Amy) his daughters Lauren, Kaitlyn and Nicole of Sumner, WA; her daughter Jennifer Anderson (Shawn) and her sons Coleman, Solomon and Emerick of Bentonville, AR; two sisters, Janette Lord of Woodhull, IL and Ruth Wiedeman of Flagstaff, AZ; and many surrogate grandchildren.. Eva was born in a farmhouse in Spring Bay, Illinois on September 1, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Russell and Willys Winkler. Eva moved to Colorado in 1960 to finish her education. She left her profession as a teacher in the Jefferson County School System to raise her family. She later opened a successful classical women’s boutique, EVA’S ORIGINALS, which she operated until her retirement in 2002. During her retirement, she devoted her time to her gardens and was an avid reader.

An open house will held Sunday September 18, from 12 to 4 PM to Celebrate Eva’s Life at the home she shared with Ted:

2442 W Peakview Ct in Littleton.

Her final resting place will be in her family’s plot in Spring Bay, IL
