Eva Katkics (Kiss), 78, of Manchester, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at her home. Born in Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary, she lived in Carteret, NJ before retiring as the Director of Purchasing for Medicia Pharmaceutical in Dayton, NJ, and moving to Manchester, NJ 15 years ago.
Eva is preceded in death by her beloved husband Steven Katkics, Sr., her parents Ference and Maria Kiss (Bogar), as well as her siblings; Otto Kiss and Theresa Janics.
She is survived by her brother; Sandor Kiss and his wife Erika in Austria, her loving children; Steve Katkics, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Pemberton, NJ, and Elizabeth Thompson and her husband Peter of Aberdeen, NJ, four grandchildren, whom she was very proud of; Holly Thompson, Heather Thompson, Hope Thompson, and Glen Thompson and his wife Lauren, and one great grandchild, affectionately named Evie Thompson in her honor.
