Eva Jane Newell, 81, of Clarksburg, passed away at residence Wednesday, March 22, 2012 following an extended illness. She was born August 1, 1930 in Ronceverte, WV the daughter of the late Rivers Spence and Louise Ayers Spence. She was preceded in death by her husband Norris Eugene Newell in November of 2000. Eva is survived by one daughter Sheri Newell Bee of Clarksburg; one sister-in-law; Exrea Spence of Crozet, Va; two nieces; Exrea Jane and Vickie and two nephews; Billy Joe and Jimbo. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers; Billy Spence and Jimmy Spence. Eva was a homemaker, she enjoyed attending gospel sings and was a member of Jewel City Church.
