Obituary of Eva J. Proulx
PROULX, Eva J. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence, with her family by her side. She was 86 years old. Eva J. Marker was born on July 13, 1927 in Bach, Michigan to the late Max and Anna (Beljung) Marker. She married William P. Proulx on August 21, 1948 in Gagetown; he preceded her in death on May 11, 1996. Eva was employed with Consumer’s Power as a marketing representative; retiring in 1990 with over 20 years of service. She was a faithful member of St. Helen Catholic Church. Eva enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters and a son: Diane (Dennis) Neuenfeldt of Freeland, Kim (Rick) Weigl of Saginaw, Tammy (John) Bazinski of Rochester Hills and Randy (Sandra) Proulx of Saginaw; eight grandchildren: Travis (Joan) Bell, Brandon (Jesse) Bell, Dennis Jr. (Crystal) Neuenfeldt, Marci, Matthew and Ryan Weigl, Nicole and Stephen Bazinski; four great grandchildren: Jillian, Jacqueline, Sam and Ollie Bell; two brothers and three sisters: Joe (Martha) Marker, Elizabeth (Wally) Gasinski, Deloris Ferworn, Karl (Madge) Marker, and Theresa (R. Michael) Markva; three sisters-in-law: Madeline Marker, Dolly Marker and Gene Hendrickson. Also surviving is a special friend, Dale Metzger. In addition, Eva is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters: Max Jr., Nick, Mike, Pete and John Marker, and Anna Sonderhouse and Marion Marker.
