Eunice “May” Tate, 80, Bloomington, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 surrounded by her family.
May was born July 11, 1938 in Monroe County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Marshall and Ruby (Fleetwood) Callahan.
May was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ and a former Sunday School teacher for many years. She loved her family.She enjoyed sewing and gardening. May retired from RCA/Thompson.
Survivors include her children, Daryl (Lisa) Tate, Terry Tate and Theresa (Jud) Sears, all of Bloomington, Indiana; one brother, Raymond Callahan of Oolitic, Indiana; seven sisters, Fay Eads, Thelma Flynn, Mary Duncan, Kay Bland, Fern Sturgis, Ruthie Barrow and Loretta Richardson, all of Bloomington, Indiana; five grandchildren, Charity Robinson, Laura Phipps, Ben Sears, Emily Tate and Erica Tate; three great-grandchildren, Harris Robinson, Mayla Robinson and Louis Phipps.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Tate; daughter, Karyl Tate and brother, Marion Callahan.
